Custom Öhlins rear shocks are built by PMB in Switzerland following a thorough checklist to optimize its fit, performance and durability

Compression Tuning Adjusted based on the ride + practice + bike geometry
Rebound Tuning Adjusted based on the ride + practice + bike geometry
Base Valve Type DH or All Mountain / Enduro depending on rider's practice
Settings Settings are chosen from a fully up to date setting bank provided by Öhlins Racing AB
Eyelet TTX22m.2, m.1, original or proprietary depending on the fit with the bike; m.1 and original eyelets are used when they are the only ones compatible with the bike
Cylinder Head Side by side or piggyback depending on the fit with the bike
Piston size Each piston is sized to perfection to lower friction and increase durability
Assembly in Assembly in Switzerland by PMB for all custom units

TTX22m.2 and TTX22m hydraulic tuning focus on compression and rebound

The standard setting bank give a wide range of settings for most riders

New: The all new Racing setting bank give access to fully updated race-proven settings for the most demanding racers

All tuning follow a race-proven setting bank:

  • Compression: C5, C10, C20, C40, C50
  • DH Compression: DHC40, DHC70
  • DH Racing Compression: DHCR20, DHCR25, DHCR30, DHCR40, DHCR45, DHCR50
  • Rebound: R20, R22.5, R25, R30, R35, R40, R50, R60

All changes are based on the rider's weight, practice and bike
